SPECIAL CONDITIONS
By providing financial contributions (or any contributions in the form of goods or services), AMI supporters agree to the following:
The donation is made to the Independent Midwives Association definitively and irrevocably, without any conditions or obligations, in accordance with Article 9 of Emergency Ordinance 34/2014.
Donations will be used by AMI to support projects in line with the organization's mission and objectives.
AMI reserves the right to refund any donation whenever it considers there are valid reasons for it.
Each donation is subject to the provisions of these "Terms and Conditions," which will constitute a legally binding agreement between the contributor/donor and the Independent Midwives Association.
Types of Donations
Individuals aged 18 or older or legal entities can financially support AMI's activities through the following means:
A one-time or recurring donation consisting of transferring money to AMI through the Stripe and PayPal platforms and/or by direct bank transfer to AMI's account.
Donation made by redirecting the percentages established by law from income tax, in accordance with the provisions of the Tax Code.
Sponsorship based on a sponsorship contract regulated by Law no. 32/1994 on Sponsorship or based on the redirection of the quota from corporate tax/income of micro-enterprises, in accordance with the provisions of the Tax Code.
By accepting a recurring donation, the donor agrees to pay the chosen donation amount to AMI periodically, each calendar month.
The value of the recurring donation can be changed at any time, as well as the request to stop the payments, by sending an email to contact@moasele.ro.
Changes to the donation amount or termination of payments for a recurring donation will only apply in the future, without affecting payments already made, and AMI is not obligated to refund the amounts already received.
The donor agrees to provide correct, complete, and accurate details for making a payment when choosing to make a recurring monthly donation.
Payment for your recurring donation can be made by credit card or debit card.
Your recurring payment will be withdrawn from your account each month, and the recurring donation will continue only until it is terminated, in accordance with the "Refunds and Cancellation of Donations section”.
Administration of Donations
All donations to AMI will be made through the ”Donate” page on the moasele.ro website, moasele.ro, through third-party platforms representing AMI, or by bank transfer to AMI's accounts.
Donations to AMI that are processed by one of our payment providers will be held by them until they are transferred to AMI's bank account.
Each donation will be identified by a unique payment provider number (transaction ID/code), so it is individually refundable and will be processed separately by AMI.
Once the donation is processed, AMI will be the legal beneficiary, with full rights over the entire value of the financial contribution. The donor does not have the right to a refund of the contribution in circumstances other than those specified in these "Terms and Conditions."
The donor may receive certain promotional benefits for their donation in AMI's campaigns.
Refunds and Cancellation of Donations section
AMI reserves the right to refund any donation whenever it considers necessary, including when it believes that accepting the financial contribution would conflict with AMI's mission, values, or objectives, or when the source of the contribution or the donor's intentions could affect AMI's independence or reputation.
AMI reserves the right to perform all necessary checks to determine the legitimacy of such a request, including requesting information and documents from the donor if necessary. The actual refund of the payment will be made within 14 days from the moment AMI decides to refund the donation, to the account from which the payment was made.
Transparency of Donations
To ensure transparency of donations, AMI reserves the right to:
Request the donor's full name and contact details;
Request any other information from the donor that AMI deems necessary or desirable to determine the source of the contribution;
Conduct any other investigations in accordance with the provisions of this document;
If the donor refuses to provide any information requested by AMI in accordance with the clauses of this document, AMI may refuse and return the donor's contribution whenever necessary.
